first neighborhood walk

Ready for my first neighborhood walk

Started responding little bit to sounds & bright colors/contrasts
Ditched the crib and the swing, Loves the cuddling warmth & swinging rhythm of loving hands.
Slept through my first neighborhood walk.
Skin regeneration on the belly, hands & feet. That is probably causing the irritation aka the sudden fits of outburst.
More Changes: Less patient with delays in feeding etc, Lighter sleep, hence sleeping less.
Weight gain normal. At 9lb 3.2oz
Week 2 Finish line in view

I am here

Greetings,

Phew, I landed last night, folks !
at 10:39pm, I think, on 09/11/09

they say I am a healthy BundleOfJoy at 9lb 12oz, 21 inches
O my tag says "Its a Girl"

it is rather bright out here..
I spend quite a bit of time, learning to breath, feed, cry, feed, cry, sleep. Hence the delay in sending my greetings.

I have been cuddling with Mommy, she sounded great.
Dad sends thanks for all your prayers, love & wishes, along with these snaps

Kisses,
Kripa Elzy Cherian
ps: Kripa means Grace in Hindi

On target

Natural labor looks far far away. So we will let the doc do their trick. Tomorrow morning we are on schedule to get the dose of Pitocin. Thanks everyone for the love, wishes & prayers. Leaving all the details on the Lord.

Full term now!

Last friday was my 40th week appointment. No signs of labor yet. The baby is doing fine, actually too cozy to come out. I am ready for the pregnancy to come to an end, and to welcome this bundle-of-joy into our lives.

Dr. says if labor doesn't happen on its own by next Wed., I will be induced next Friday (Sept 11).
We are hoping that labor will start naturally before Wed. and that I won't have to be induced. We are so thankful for your prayers as we go through this exciting time in our lives.
Hopefully in the next post, it will be Baby Cherian's pics!!
